We have made it a priority to reduce face-to-face interaction as much as possible, however, there are times where those interactions are unavoidable. As our current tenants are aware, the most important thing that a prospective tenant does prior to selecting a new rental property is physically visit the property. We have done our best to provide the same experience virtually, but many prospective tenants require in person viewing. While this is a necessary function that we must perform, we also recognize your hesitancy to allow people into your homes.

We have put the following safeguards in place: Owners Matt and Maya and prospective tenant will be screened prior to entering any property.

The screening process requires a temperature check as well as the individual to answer the following questions:

1. Do you have a fever?
2. Do you have a cough or shortness of breath?
3. Have you traveled in the last 30 days?
4. Have you had contact with someone who is sick? Have you recently traveled out of the area?

If an individual has a fever or answers “yes” to any of the questions, they will not be permitted to view the property until they are symptom free for 14 days.

Protective Measures

1. Each individual entering a property will wear a mask and latex gloves.
2. Disinfectant wipes will be used to wipe down all surfaces that are touched.
3. Additionally, social distancing is to be maintained as much as possible during any showing.
4. Limiting Number of Individuals – Prospective tenants will not be permitted to bring any individuals other than the prospective tenants themselves.
5. Tenant Presence – The most prevalent method of infection involves person-to-person transmission. Accordingly, we request that the current tenants not be present during any showing. We, of course, will work to reasonably accommodate your schedules.

Tenant Measures – You can assist us in reducing the potential exposure by:

1. Leaving all doors in the property open to limit surface touching.
2. Weather permitting, open a window in each room to increase air circulation.

If you have been experiencing any symptoms, please contact your medical provider. If your medical provider directs you to quarantine, please provide us with documentation of that instruction so that we can ensure that the quarantine is maintained.
